Welcome to the White Bird Montessori School website!
White Bird is a year-round school for children 18 months to 6
years old. We have a summer program for children up to 11
years old. White Bird Montessori proudly offers both full
and half-day Montessori programs between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Before School and After School fun is also
available from 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We are located at
9000 Manchaca Rd. between Davis Ln. and Slaughter Ln. in
South Austin.
White Bird Montessori School, Inc. was founded in 1986 and
moved to its current location in August of 2005. We are
excited about all of our new plans for the two acre property.
All of our classrooms include a Montessori certified guide
and trained assistants. White Bird is in process of being
accredited by the American Montessori Society. The school
was founded by Peggy Graham-Bimler who is AMI certified
and holds a B.S. in Child Development.
