PARENT MEETING THIS EVENING from 6:30 - 8:00. Many parents have asked how to help their child at
home by integrating some of our methods. Here is you chance to learn more - Ms. Cindy will be helping us
understand Montessori and the Home Environment. It is a wonderful concept and links to the child's behavior
in so many ways. Please come and bring your questions and comments, we will learn more together.
Childcare is available for $5.

MIA and ANABEL brought beautiful homemade muffins to share this week with their friends. They were
delicious. JAX'S Mom came last week and told an Indian holiday story to celebrate Divali. The children really
enjoyed it. It is always extra special when families share their traditions with us, so we can appreciate all
cultures. JAX'S Dad came to play trumpet for the children. Needless to say, it was greatly appreciated.

SHOPPING "FOR SMALL HANDS", are your orders ready? We need to get our orders in by Nov. 18 so we
can have free Shipping and we receive credit for your child's classrooms. Have you picked a WISH LIST
PEACE TAG off the porch wall? You may choose one or several, if you like. Please turn all orders to the
office. Call Peggy if you have any questions. Thank you

Nov. 25, Tuesday, is our annual THANKSGIVING POTLUCK FEAST. We will be setting up the buffet at 11:00
and the Feast is at 11:30. Parents are able to come on their lunch hour and join the children at the FEAST.
The children decorate the tables outside and help set up the buffet. They are also making muffins to share.
Picnic blankets are scattered about for people too. We always have a wonderful time.

The sign-up sheets are up for the FEAST. Please add your favorite dish, if you do not see it on the list - we
love different dishes. Please bring your dish ready to serve about 8 - 10 people.
It will be such fun. Thank you.

White Bird Montessori will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 26, 27 and 28.
